- I have recently started a course called "Introduction to System
- Programming" as part of my studies in Computer Science. Due to other
- engagements, I will not be able to attend the lectures. I had hoped to
- be able to make up the material from various books, specifically a
- book called : "System Programming" by John J. Donovan. HereÆs my
- problem : besides the book being vastly outdated ("...card hopper...",
- "...core..." ???) and a bit unfriendly itÆs also out of print. As my
- course is based mainly on the book, and the book being the backbone of
- a course of the same name given at MIT for the last 25 years (I am
- tolled), I was hoping someone out there, that has taken the course,
- could give me a pointer to ANY information, text, internet location,
- publication dealing with the same material.
